Rextales Breeding Cats
Ripley is our first breeding queen and she produced her first litter of five healthy
babies in November 2006. She is a black smoke Devon and has a very striking
appearance. Ripley loves to play in water and is another Devon who retrieves her toys
when you throw them for her. She particularly likes cable ties that have been joined
together and will amuse herself hiding them under furniture and retrieving them again.
Ripley is nearing the end of her reproductive days as she is now six years old, however
we may have one more litter from her and then she will live out her days here with lots of
love and pampering.

Tilde had her first litter this year (2008) and she has turned out to be a great mother.
Her kittens also seem to have inherited her great personality,. She does have a
feisty side but it is an important part of her character and we wouldn't want to change
it. Some of the other cats might not agree, but she is amusing at times. She is
chocolate smoke masked in colour and has the blue/aqua eyes common to masked
cats. Tilde is a strong healthy girl and we hope to keep a girl from her to ensure we
maintain the health and temperament she passes onto to her babies.

A sad time for us of late as we lost our little manTobias on 21st May 2011. His early loss is a reminder to all of us to take care when feeding chicken necks as he choked on a chicken neck only a few minutes after I had left him. He sired four beautiful litters in his short life and hopefully his gentle spirit lives on in his offspring. He was a gentle sweet boy and is sadly missed. |

| We have a very beautiful new boy called Tad. It will be some time before he will be able to have his own babies, but we are so looking forward to that day. He is a cream and white harlequin with blue eyes. He is mischievous and naughty just like a Devon should be and at the moment we are having to secure all the electrical cords as he is a cord chewer. He arrived in Sydney 1st July 2011, and we fell in love with him immediately. |
